Hi, and welcome to my mindfulness blog, The Inner Entrepreneur.

This blog is about discovering more about you, who you are, and learn ways to communicate with yourself better so that you can live more fully and show up for all of it.

Let me start from the beginning...

The Puzzle

In order to fully understand yourself, you must first have a clear picture of all the pieces. I call this the Puzzle. The Puzzle is the overview of who you are, and the puzzle pieces are your values, likes, personality, motivation, and ways of being. The pieces are what make up who you are.

Once you have clarity what the overall picture looks like, and you know what all the pieces are within the puzzle, then it becomes a game of trial and error to figure out where all of them go and where they fit in.

Figuring out the puzzle picture takes time and commitment. And a willingness to investigate and figure yourself out. Most people grow up and build a puzzle with other people's pieces. We are told when very young how to behave, what to like, what to do, and how to be to "fit in." So we start creating a persona, a self, that is not authentic or aligned with who we really are. Many of us try on different pieces and even though some of them can fit somewhat, they don't completely align and we start thinking that the Puzzle is wrong. That we are faulty and that the pieces given to us are not working.

So we start changing the Puzzle instead of changing the pieces.

The key to figuring yourself out and learn which pieces belongs to YOUR puzzle, you must first commit to the idea that you are perfect and complete just as you are.

And that the puzzle is never wrong. It's who you are. The puzzle pieces are not wrong either. Just misplaced. Once you have clarity of the Puzzle, and know what pieces go where and which pieces are yours and which ones are others, you can slowly start building a picture of yourself that feels aligned, authentic, and true to who you really are.
